SpACE-Net, originally funded by the UK's EPSRC, was set up to bring together a community of spatial audio researchers, practitioners and artists, drawn from the fields of science, audio engineering and the arts. By combining theoretical, experimental and creative approaches, it aimed to identify and develop important new directions in spatial audio research and practice, and to encourage and promote work in these areas.
